Produced by a natural process, we insert a natural quartz nucleus into the oysters.

With time, the molluscs grow successive layers of mother-of-pearl around the nucleus, over time forming genuine pearls.

HANDMADE PEARLS

The handmade glass pearls have the appearance of fine pearls or cultured pearls. Unlike cultured pearls, they are not produced by the oyster, but coated with a synthetic mother-of-pearl giving off a dazzling sparkle crafted pearl.

Misaki Monaco uses glass pearl, all coated by hand. A long and meticulous process is used to obtain a superimposed layers, giving birth to gems of timeless radiance.

Our Handmade glass pearls offer a brilliance sometimes superior to cultured pearls due to a controlled process.

The diversity of colour contributes to the fantasy and sparkle of the jewels, while improving their shock-resistance, thus allowing Misaki to create wide ranges of necklaces, pendants, earrings and bracelets, the result of combinations of glass pearls and materials like resin, ceramic, stones (druzzy or blue sandstone).
